Is HIFU surgery?
No. HIFU is a non-surgical treatment. Energy is delivered through the skin's surface without incisions. Your technician will explain what to expect during and after your session.
What is the difference between HIFU, RF and microcurrent?
HIFU uses focused ultrasound to deliver energy to targeted depths beneath the skin. Radiofrequency warms the skin at a shallower level. Microcurrent gently stimulates the muscles. Our system combines all three, and your technician chooses how to use them for your goals.
When will I see a difference?
Any collagen response is gradual, so changes usually develop over the weeks and months after treatment. Timing varies from person to person.
Who might not be suitable?
Treatment may not be suitable if you are pregnant, have a pacemaker or metal implants, have epilepsy, diabetes or severe high blood pressure, have dermal fillers in the treatment area, or have open wounds or active acne in the area. Your technician will go through your health history at consultation.
What should I do after treatment?
Your technician will give you specific aftercare. In general, gentle skincare, moisturising, sun protection and avoiding heat such as saunas and very hot showers for a few days are sensible. It is also usual to avoid other energy-based facial treatments for around a week.
